Yuuko Aioi, Mio Naganohara, and Mai Minakami are high school friends in a small town where the ordinary and the absurd exist on the same plane. Around the corner, eight-year-old professor Hakase Shinonome has built Nano, a robot girl with a conspicuous wind-up key on her back, and the household includes Sakamoto, a scarf-wearing cat who can talk. Short, loosely connected sketches bounce between the two groups as everyday situations (ordering coffee, forgetting homework, losing at cards) escalate into slapstick of wildly disproportionate scale.
