In a world swept up in the Gunpla Battle craze — tournaments where customized Gundam plastic models are brought to life by Plavsky particles and fought in holographic arenas — Sei Iori is a gifted model builder whose poor piloting keeps knocking him out in the first round. Everything changes when he meets Reiji, a mysterious boy with natural combat instincts. The two team up, Sei building and Reiji piloting his Build Strike Gundam, and set out to climb the world tournament together.
