Synopsis
In a Tokyo where people can spontaneously ignite and turn into rampaging Infernals, Shinra Kusakabe joins Special Fire Force Company 8, a unit that lays the Infernals to rest. Born with the ability to ignite his feet, Shinra wants to become a hero and find the truth behind the fire that killed his mother and supposedly his younger brother years earlier. Under Captain Akitaru Obi, Company 8 also quietly investigates corruption among the other fire companies and the real cause of the combustion.
