Synopsis
Once the assassin known as Hitokiri Battōsai during the war that ended the shogunate, Kenshin Himura now wanders Meiji-era Japan with a reverse-bladed sakabatō he has sworn never to kill with again. In Tokyo he meets Kaoru Kamiya, whose Kamiya Kasshin-ryū dojo is being slandered by a killer using the Battōsai name. Kenshin takes up residence at the dojo, and Yahiko and Sanosuke gather around him as his past keeps catching up.
