Synopsis
Tsubasa Shiki transfers from Tokyo to the city of Kitami in Hokkaido and meets his new classmate Minami Fuyuki, a local gal who immediately takes the city boy under her wing. Minami walks him through Hokkaido life, from the dialect words namara and menkoi to regional food like imomochi and pastimes like wakasagi ice fishing. The episodic chapters follow Tsubasa, Minami, and their schoolmates through everyday outings as he gets used to his new home in the north.
