Amu Hinamori is a grade-schooler whose cold, sharp-dressing image at school hides a shy girl who can never say what she means. After wishing for the courage to become her would-be self, she wakes to find three colorful eggs that hatch into Guardian Characters — Ran, Miki, and Su — tiny embodiments of who she wants to be. The Guardians of her school recruit Amu as the Joker, tasked with finding and purifying corrupted X Eggs while the Easter company hunts a wish-granting egg called the Embryo.
