At eleven, Kotoko Iwanaga was taken by yokai and made their Goddess of Wisdom, a mediator between spirits and humans, giving up her right eye and her left leg in the bargain. Six years later she sets her sights on Kurou Sakuragawa, a university student newly single after a run-in with a kappa, and recruits him to help settle the disputes the supernatural bring her. Kotoko fabricates plausible explanations to lay troublesome spirits to rest, while Kurou's own hidden nature proves stranger than any case she handles.
