Sengoku Youko

As Japan slides into the chaos of the Sengoku era, the self-styled World Reform Siblings travel the land righting wrongs done by the katawara, the monstrous "darkness that stands beside" humans. Tama is an idealistic youko fox spirit who loves humankind and punishes katawara that prey on it, while her jaded younger brother Jinka borrows her power, wanting only to shed his humanity and become a katawara himself. Their road soon gathers the timid samurai Shinsuke and the reluctant half-katawara Shakugan into their cause.
