Synopsis
Raishin Akabane travels from Japan to enroll at the Walpurgis Royal Academy of Machinart, an institution where puppeteers control automatons built from spell-circuits. At his side is Yaya, a machine doll who fights as his weapon and competes for his attention. Raishin enters the academy's four-yearly Night Party tournament, where puppeteers battle for the rank of Wiseman, while pursuing the figure behind the slaughter of his family.
