宮河家の空腹

Hikage Miyakawa is a grade-schooler who keeps the household budget, because her older sister Hinata spends whatever the two of them have on doujinshi and figures and leaves the fridge empty. The four-panel strips follow them stretching a few hundred yen into dinner, Hinata rationalizing the next purchase, and Hikage's ordinary school days with her classmates and teachers. The Miyakawa sisters come out of the Lucky Star side games, and their poverty is played as the running gag.
