宮河家の空腹

Money runs out early every month in the Miyakawa apartment, where Hinata's spending on merchandise decides what her younger sister Hikage gets to eat. This light novel retells the sisters' hungry routine in prose, with room the four-panel strips do not have for Hikage's day at school, the neighbours and the arithmetic behind a cheap dinner. Hinata stays the same unrepentant otaku, and Hikage stays the one holding the purse.
