Taiki Kudou and Shoutmon go back to a Digital World that has been rebuilt underneath them. The Bagra Army has cut it into seven kingdoms, each one handed to a Death General serving under Dark Knightmon, with the Dark Fortress at the centre. Taiki's Xros Loader and the DigiXros fusions it allows are what Xros Heart has to work with as it moves from one territory to the next. This twenty-four-episode second season continues straight on from the first.
