Rika Furude has finally walked out of June 1983 alive. The gameboard that kept resetting Hinamizawa's worst week is cleared, her friends are safe, and what is left is an ordinary stretch of life with Satoko Houjou beside her. Then another fragment closes around her and it all begins again. This manga continues the Higurashi cycle from that point, with Rika back in the position she has held since the start: the only one carrying the memory of how the last loop ended.
