Scientists build Mewtwo out of Mew's DNA to make the strongest Pokémon that has ever existed, and Mewtwo answers by tearing the laboratory down. An invitation then goes out to the best trainers alive; Ash Ketchum, Misty and Brock cross to the castle on New Island and find that their host is the clone itself, waiting with a team of copies of their own Pokémon. Three chapters adapt the CGI remake of the first Pokémon film, not the 1998 original.
