Utena Tenjou arrives at Ohtori Academy in a boy's uniform and runs into Touga Kiryuu, the boy she knew before she decided to become a prince herself. Duels in a hidden arena settle who holds Anthy Himemiya, the Rose Bride, and Utena wins her without ever wanting the prize. These two chapters retell the 1999 film The Adolescence of Utena, a reimagining of the television story rather than a sequel to it.
