Lina Inverse meets an enigmatic woman named Hureika in a seaside village, and the encounter tears her away from everything familiar. Separated from Gourry Gabriev, she washes ashore on an unknown coast where her magic will not answer and monsters hunt in the open. A boy who calls himself Lyos, the Knight of the Aqualord, drags her clear of that first fight. This manga retells the Slayers TRY storyline along a different path, with Riskfalto, a general of the Deep Sea Dolphin, moving against them.
