Lina Inverse has teamed up with Naga the White Serpent, and the pair work through demons, bandits and monsters for whatever treasure and hot meals the jobs turn up. Tommy Ohtsuka draws this manga from Hajime Kanzaka's Slayers Special novels, which put Lina and Naga together in the stretch before the main Slayers story. Their partnership runs closer to rivalry than friendship, and the medieval country they cross keeps producing people willing to pay for that kind of firepower.
