On Hatsunejima the cherry trees bloom all year round, and Yoshiyuki Sakurai lives next door to Otome and Yume Asakura, granddaughters of Junichi and Nemu from the original Da Capo. Fifty-three years have passed since that story, so the island's wish-granting sakura and the legends attached to them now belong to an entirely new set of students. This thirteen-episode season adapts the visual novel sequel, and none of the earlier anime's cast carries over.
