Lina Inverse and Gourry Gabriev are hunting a replacement for the lost Sword of Light when a scrap with pirates lands them in the kingdom of Luvinagard, where Amelia and Zelgadis turn up again. Waiting there is Wizer, an inspector attached to the kingdom's Special Investigative Unit, whose interest in Lina runs stranger than the usual bounty grudge. This fourth Slayers television series reunites the original cast and picks the sorceress's road back up where the earlier seasons left it.
