Chi, the grey-and-white kitten the Yamada family took in, wanders into the neighborhood park and meets a territorial kitten named Kocchi who wants nothing to do with her. She keeps at it anyway, and the afternoon turns into a slow negotiation over whether a stranger can be a playmate. Yohei and his mother Miwa are never far behind. This single thirteen-minute OVA shipped with the manga's seventh volume, a one-episode side story rather than a way into the series.
