姑獲鳥の夏
姑獲鳥の夏
Tokyo, 1952: the writer Tatsumi Sekiguchi carries an impossible story to his old friend Akihiko Chuuzenji, a used-bookshop owner and part-time exorcist everyone calls Kyogokudo. At the Kuonji clinic, Kyoko Kuonji has been pregnant for twenty months, and her husband Makio disappeared from a sealed room before the pregnancy began. Chuuzenji does not believe in ghosts; his position is that the supernatural lives in how people think, not in the world. This novel opens the Kyougokudou series.
