Umineko: When They Cry

うみねこのなく頃に

The wealthy Ushiromiya family gathers on the private island of Rokkenjima for its annual conference, eighteen people in all, beneath the local legend of the Golden Witch Beatrice. A typhoon seals the island off, and the relatives begin dying one by one in deaths staged around the witch's epitaph and her promised gold. Battler Ushiromiya refuses to accept magic as the cause and squares off against Beatrice, who insists the murders prove witches are real.
