ほしのこえ

Mikako Nagamine and Noboru Terao are middle-school friends until Mikako is recruited into the UN Space Army to fight the Tarsians, an alien force, piloting a Tracer mecha aboard the carrier Lysithea. Noboru stays behind on Earth, and the two keep in touch through text messages on their phones. As the fleet travels farther from Earth, each message takes longer to arrive, until years separate one reply from the next. This short OVA runs about thirty minutes.
