Chihaya Ayase and the Mizusawa High School karuta club return for their third season, with the team's group success giving way to individual stakes. Chihaya sets her sights on challenging the reigning Queen for the women's title, while Taichi and Arata press toward the men's bracket. The tournament year that follows Mizusawa's team wins turns each of them toward a title of their own.
