Synopsis
A new school year opens at Mizusawa High, and Chihaya Ayase needs the karuta club she started with Taichi Mashima to survive the loss of its graduating seniors. Twenty hopefuls turn up for tryouts — including the boy-crazy first-year Sumire Hanano and the meticulous Tsukuba Akihiro — as Chihaya pushes the team toward the national high-school tournament at Omi Jingu shrine and Arata Wataya commits to chasing the Master title back in Fukui. This second season picks up directly from the first and continues the run toward nationals.
