First-grader Renge and her friends Hotaru, Komari, and Natsumi keep up their unhurried life at the tiny rural Asahigaoka branch school in this third Non Non Biyori season. The premiere settles back into countryside routines after the cast's Okinawa trip, with city transplant Hotaru still adjusting to fields and quiet days. A new neighbor, Akane Shinoda, moves in beside the Koshigaya family, adding a fresh face to the village as the children carry on through the seasons.
