Kraft Lawrence, a traveling merchant who moves between towns with his horse and cart, finds the wolf deity Holo asleep among his wheat bundles one night. Holo is centuries old and longs to return to her northern homeland of Yoitsu; she offers Lawrence her sharp instincts for trade in exchange for his company on the road. This 2024 adaptation retells the original light novel storyline with new animation.
