Synopsis
Humanity lives in colonies carved into a vast Underground, walled off from a sprawling Labyrinth crawling with Kaiju. In the colony of Pin-in, a sharp nine-year-old named Memempu dreams of the surface and begs her father Gagumber, a former Marker who now mines ore, to chart the Labyrinth with her. He gives in, and the two set out in a work robot to map the unknown and find the white tower Memempu keeps seeing in her visions.
