Mushibugyo

ムシブギョー

In an alternate Edo-era Japan plagued by giant man-eating insects called Mushi, young samurai Jinbei Tsukishima travels to the capital to take his injured father's place in the Insect Magistrate's Office (Mushibugyo). Joining a squad of specialists who hunt the creatures with secret martial arts, he fights monstrous bugs, makes new comrades, and strives to prove himself in a blend of action and comedy.
