Monkey D. Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates escort Princess Nefertari Vivi back to her homeland of Alabasta, a desert kingdom worn down by a three-year drought and on the brink of civil war. Behind the chaos stands Crocodile, who runs the criminal syndicate Baroque Works and means to topple Vivi's father, King Cobra, and seize the throne. This compilation film retells the Alabasta arc with new animation rather than presenting a new story.
