Tsukune Aono, the only human student at the monster-only Yokai Academy, returns to the school after it was nearly destroyed, now carrying vampire blood from Moka Akashiya that a limiter keeps in check. He reunites with Moka and the rest of his classmates as a new year begins. Moka's younger half-sister Koko Shuzen enrolls, and a human organization called Fairy Tale starts to threaten the monster world the academy was built to protect. This second manga series picks up directly from the first.
