Synopsis
Yugi Mutou is a shy teenager who finally solves the Millennium Puzzle, an ancient Egyptian artifact passed down through his grandfather's game shop. Completing it awakens a second personality, Dark Yugi, the spirit of a nameless pharaoh who takes over to challenge bullies and crooks to Shadow Games and hand out brutal Penalty Games. As Yugi grows closer to friends Anzu, Jonouchi, and Honda, he draws the attention of rivals who wield the other Millennium Items, including the collector Seto Kaiba.
