Synopsis
Ten years before the events of Fate/stay night, seven mages summon legendary heroes as Servants and fight the Fourth Holy Grail War in Fuyuki City, a winner-take-all battle for a wish-granting Grail. Kiritsugu Emiya enters on behalf of the Einzbern family, a ruthless mercenary who once dreamed of saving everyone and now wins by any means, his Servant the proud knight-king Saber. Around them, rival Masters and their Servants pursue clashing ideals of heroism and victory. This is the Fate/Zero prequel by Gen Urobuchi.
