Synopsis
Sakamichi Onoda starts high school hoping to join an anime club, only to find it disbanded. Years of pedaling a heavy mamachari bike to Akihabara and back have left him with surprising endurance, which catches the eye of sprinter Shunsuke Imaizumi and the brash Kyoto transfer Shokichi Naruko. The two press Onoda to join Sohoku High's competitive cycling team, pulling the timid otaku into the world of road racing and mountain climbs.
