Synopsis
Rintaro Okabe, a self-proclaimed mad scientist operating from a cluttered Akihabara apartment he calls the Future Gadget Laboratory, stumbles onto a way to send text messages into the past. Alongside lab members Mayuri Shiina and Itaru "Daru" Hashida, he begins experimenting with these "D-Mails," only to discover that each message quietly rewrites the present. When the alterations spiral beyond control, Okabe must undo the damage using his strange ability to retain memories across shifting timelines.
