A month after the events of Heaven Is a Place on Earth, Nagi Sanzenin is back in her family mansion with Hayate Ayasaki still working off his debt as her butler. Word arrives from American authorities that she has one week to claim belongings left by the father she barely remembers, and a girl turns up at the gate calling herself Nagi's little sister. This third TV season runs on a story written for the anime by original manga author Kenjiro Hata rather than adapting existing chapters.
