Hibiki Tokai and the crew of the Nirvana have just wrecked an Earth battleship when they learn five more are bearing down on Mejere and Taraak, the separated women's and men's worlds the crew came from. Heading home becomes a race against a harvest already in motion, and a girl named Misty joins the ship carrying news from Earth worse than anything they had guessed. Three volumes cover the same stretch of story as the second television season.
