蒼天の拳

Shanghai in the 1930s is carved into foreign concessions and left to rival gangs, and its streets still remember Yan Wang, the King of Death, a master of the lethal assassination art Hokuto Shinken who wiped out the city's worst gangsters and vanished. He is Kenshiro Kasumi, now a laid-back, chain-smoking professor in Tokyo, and people from Shanghai have begun arriving in Japan to look for him. When word reaches Kenshiro that his triad friend Pan Guang-Lin and Pan Yu-Ling are in danger, he heads back to Shanghai. The story is set decades before Fist of the North Star.
