After nuclear war reduces the world to lawless wasteland, Kenshiro walks the ruins as the successor of Hokuto Shinken, an assassination art that destroys an enemy from the inside by striking hidden pressure points. His fiancée Yuria has been stolen by his rival Shin, who left seven scars across Kenshiro's chest and abandoned him for dead. Kenshiro sets out across the desert, defending the weak from the gangs that prey on them while he hunts for Yuria.
