The Garden of Sinners Chapter 1: Overlooking View

In September 1998, Shiki Ryougi — a young woman who can perceive the death-lines in any object — investigates a wave of suicides at the abandoned Fujou Building, where several high-school girls have leapt from the roof with no apparent motive. Between visits from her friend Mikiya Kokutou, Shiki works under magus Touko Aozaki at the Garan no Dou detective agency. When she spots ghostly figures drifting above the rooftop, she climbs the building to uncover what binds the dead to the tower.
