Synopsis
Saichi Sugimoto, a Russo-Japanese War veteran known as 'Immortal Sugimoto,' scrapes by during the Hokkaido gold rush until he learns of a fortune in Ainu gold hidden somewhere in the wilderness. The only map is tattooed across the skins of escaped convicts from Abashiri Prison, and every faction in Hokkaido wants it. Sugimoto teams up with Asirpa, a young Ainu hunter whose father may be connected to the stolen gold, and together they track the tattooed prisoners while fending off the Imperial Japanese Army's 7th Division.
