Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind

Nausicaä, the young princess of the Valley of the Wind, lives in a world where the Toxic Jungle — a vast forest of poisonous spores and giant insects — has been spreading since the Seven Days of Fire destroyed civilization a thousand years ago. She studies the jungle's ecology and communicates with its massive armored Ohm, but her valley is drawn into war when the Tolmekian empire invades to seize an ancient bioweapon called a God Warrior. Caught between the Tolmekians and the rival kingdom of Pejite, Nausicaä fights to prevent the weapon's use and protect both her people and the jungle itself.
