This is a special Berserk chapter by Kentaro Miura, originally printed in Young Animal but left out of the collected volumes. Apart from the main serialization, it stages a one-on-one encounter between Griffith and a vast entity that calls itself the source behind the world's events. Because it lays out information Miura felt the main story should reveal far later, the chapter was kept out of the tankoubon and circulated only in its magazine form.

Her best friend Tomoyo Daidouji sews her costumes and films her hunts as Sakura learns to catch and seal each escaped card.

Ryuji Danma is a delinquent transfer student who becomes fixated on street fighter Eikichi Onizuka after watching him win a brawl, set on goading him into a real showdown. Onizuka brushes off schoolyard power struggles, preferring to rebuild a salvaged motorcycle with his friends, and a mutual acquaintance named Sakura draws Ryuji into the group instead. This short prequel to Shonan Junai Gumi sketches Onizuka's biker-gang youth before the events of Great Teacher Onizuka.
