Synopsis
Mikoto Misaka, Academy City's third-ranked Level 5 esper, discovers that researchers have cloned her DNA into twenty thousand copies — the Sisters — and are feeding them one by one to Accelerator, the city's top-ranked esper, in a secret experiment called the Level 6 Shift Project. Alongside her friends Kuroko Shirai, Kazari Uiharu, and Ruiko Saten, Mikoto sets out to dismantle the project before another clone dies. Season 2 adapts the Sisters arc from the original manga.
