Synopsis
In the Cosmic Era, war divides genetically enhanced Coordinators from unmodified Naturals. Kira Yamato, a Coordinator living quietly at a technical college on the neutral colony Heliopolis, is caught in the crossfire when ZAFT forces raid the station to seize the Earth Alliance's new mobile suits. To shield his friends he climbs into the GAT-X105 Strike Gundam — and finds himself fighting his childhood friend Athrun Zala, now a ZAFT pilot on the other side of the conflict.
