Birdy Cephon Altera and Tsutomu Senkawa still share one body, so the Federation investigator's caseload and the high schooler's classes run on the same clock. When a criminal group tied to the Ryunka affair escapes custody and hides its alien identities on Earth, the two of them are back on the job, and other hands are working the same city. This second television season pushes Birdy through what the first left open about the people who shaped her.
