The Branding Case arrives as an odd assault file and turns into something the division cannot close by the book, in a Tokyo where the Sibyl System scores every citizen's mind and Dominators fire only on the readings it returns. The manga is a prequel to the Psycho-Pass anime and follows Kogami's earliest casework rather than retelling the series.
