ひぐらしのなく頃に令 鬼熾し編

Keitarou Maebara, only son of Keiichi, moved from Tokyo to Hinamizawa three weeks before this arc opens and is starting middle school over in Okinomiya. The village has thinned out across the Showa, Heisei and Reiwa eras, and the hundreds of newcomers from the Polaris Family Association sit badly with the households that stayed. On the night of the Watanagashi festival the old pattern returns: one person is killed and one disappears.
