Aired as episode 13.5, this recap special condenses the first half of Attack on Titan's debut season into a single retrospective. It runs back through the Colossal Titan breaching Wall Maria at Shiganshina, the loss of Eren Yeager's mother, the cadets' training and graduation, and the Survey Corps' desperate fight in Trost District. It adds no new story and exists as a midseason refresher, not an entry point for newcomers.

A committed rationalist, William refuses to believe in any of it, even as Dantalion enrolls at his school and rival candidates Sytry and Camio close in.

At a children's playground at five o'clock each week, a masked old man arrives by bicycle and tells short ghost stories drawn from Japanese folklore and urban legend. Animated in the style of traditional kamishibai paper theater, the storyteller known as the kamishibaiya presents a different uncanny tale in each brief episode, with no connecting cast between them. This first season collects thirteen such standalone stories.

The story rewinds to set this "unwound" Jun against the world where the doll Shinku and her sisters bound themselves to him.

These are brief extras for fans of the TV series, not a standalone entry.

No one can say whether the outbreak is the work of Oyashiro-sama's curse or a cover-up, and Rika Furude may already be infected. This OVA expands on events the original sound novel only implied.

This OVA accompanies the Say "I Love You." series, in which loner Mei Tachibana starts dating popular Yamato Kurosawa after he steps in to protect her. The episode follows Yamato's childhood friend Kai, who, watching how dating Mei has changed Yamato, gets off his bus on impulse and strikes up a conversation with a girl named Megumi at the stop. It plays as a supplementary side-story to the main couple's romance.

Chasing a movie pirate through a theater, Gintoki Sakata is pulled into the projector lens and dropped five years into the future, where a plague has reduced Edo to a wasteland and his own gravestone is already waiting. The Yorozuya is gone — Shinpachi Shimura has become a grim, hardened swordsman, Kagura has disappeared, and everyone who knew them assumes Gintoki died in the outbreak. Marketed at release as the franchise's final film, it brings the TV anime's main run to a closing arc written from Hideaki Sorachi's original story.

In one story Nanami overhears Tomoe muttering that he no longer needs her and spends the day trying to work out what he meant, while a hidden pair of pears hints at the answer. In another, she talks Tomoe into a single day at a hot spring and sets out to prove she can manage on her own. Both shorts ship as OVA extras alongside the manga, not as a standalone entry point.

Shino also keeps facing Ao, the shadow wearing Sosuke's stolen bead.

Haruki Kitahara is the last surviving member of Hojo High School's Light Music Club, and in his third year he plays guitar alone after class to keep the room from going dark. When two classmates overhear him — the school idol Setsuna Ogiso and reclusive piano prodigy Kazusa Toma — they join in from an adjacent room and the three agree to perform together at the autumn school festival. This 2013 anime adapts the Introductory Chapter of the visual novel, covering only their final high-school year.

A bamboo cutter named Sanuki no Miyatsuko slices open a glowing stalk and finds a thumb-sized girl inside; he and his wife take her home, where she grows at an unnatural speed and the local children come to call her Takenoko, Little Bamboo. When the grove keeps yielding gold and fine cloth, Miyatsuko reads it as a sign she is meant to be a noblewoman, and moves the family to the capital to present her to court as Princess Kaguya. Takahata's Ghibli film adapts the tenth-century Tale of the Bamboo Cutter.

While visiting Heaven's Arena to cheer on their friend Zushi, Gon Freecss and Killua Zoldyck are caught up when masked attackers seize the tower and place a curse that seals the Nen of Hunter Association chairman Isaac Netero. The intruders wield On, a cursed force fed by pure hatred and opposed to Nen, and their leader has a buried grudge against Netero himself. This feature film stands apart from the TV story as Gon and Killua fight to free the chairman.

These comedic shorts accompany the second season, Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions! Heart Throb, and revisit Rikka Takanashi and former chunibyo sufferer Yuuta Togashi alongside their friends. Each short turns an ordinary errand — a volleyball lesson, an evening walk, a trip to buy dinner — into an overblown epic through Rikka's delusional flights of fancy. Brief and low-stakes, they expand on the cast rather than telling a new story.

Ragna the Bloodedge, an SS-class rebel carrying the highest bounty ever recorded, arrives in the 13th Hierarchical City of Kagutsuchi, drawing a crowd of fighters out to claim the reward. As Ragna wields the cursed Azure Grimoire on his arm, the gathered combatants collide over a plot tied to the resurrection of the Black Beast. This adapts the BlazBlue fighting-game storyline.

Class 3-E of Kunugigaoka heads off on a Kyoto school trip with their target, the tentacled teacher Koro-sensei, in tow. Nagisa Shiota and classmates like Karma Akabane and Kaede Kayano treat the outing as another chance to assassinate him, but the day turns dangerous when delinquents abduct the girls and a hired sniper called Red Eye sets his sights on the prize. This short was an early promotional special predating the main TV series.

Each attempt goes wrong, leaving the kitchen of the Uchiha compound buried under plates of failed eggs as Sasuke wanders down to watch. The comedy piece was bundled with the game Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution rather than released as part of the main series.

Sakura Hagiwara is the lead vocalist of the hit idol group Sweet Diva when a promotional visit lands her and her friend Elena Miyazawa at the Berserk women's pro-wrestling stable. After veteran wrestler Rio Kazama crushes Elena in the ring and mocks the idol world, Sakura steps into a match to defend it, and the brutal beating she takes pulls her into training as a wrestler herself. She begins splitting her life between the stage and the ring, taking loss after loss as she tries to make it in Berserk.

Akihito Kanbara, a half-youmu who cannot die, stops Mirai Kuriyama from jumping off the school roof — only to be stabbed by her blood-formed sword. Mirai is a Spirit World warrior cursed with the rare ability to manipulate her own blood, a power that has left her shunned even among other warriors. With Mirai too hesitant to slay youmu on her own, Akihito pushes her to take on hunts, and the two settle into an uneasy partnership at the Literary Club alongside fellow warriors Mitsuki and Hiroomi Nase.

Thirty thousand Japanese players of the MMORPG Elder Tale are trapped inside the game world after its twelfth expansion, Homesteading the Noosphere, goes live. Shiroe, a veteran Enchanter and former strategist of the legendary Debauchery Tea Party, initially keeps to himself but soon realizes that without laws or social order, the server city of Akihabara is collapsing into chaos. He founds the Round Table Alliance — a governing council of guilds — to restore order, establish commerce with the game's now-sentient NPCs (People of the Land), and investigate why they're trapped.

Weakened, Staz heads straight for their stronghold. This OVA was bundled with a limited-edition manga volume.

The premise barely leaves the clubroom: Yuzuko goads, Yukari drifts off-topic, and the level-headed Yui keeps trying to steer them back to whatever they were supposed to be researching.

Told in very short episodes, it stays squarely on the small, idle moments of their everyday routine.
